What are the daily inspection items for robots? What key points should be checked during routine robot maintenance?
Robot maintenance is divided into daily inspections and scheduled (periodic) maintenance. Inspection personnel must develop a maintenance plan and carry out checks thoroughly and consistently.
Daily robot inspection checklist:

1. Unusual Noise Check
Inspect all drive mechanisms for abnormal sounds or vibrations.
2. Mechanical Interference & Smooth Operation Check
Verify that all moving axes operate smoothly without jerking, binding, or unexpected oscillation.
3. Cooling System (Fan) Check
Ensure the cooling fan at the rear of the control cabinet is running properly and airflow is unobstructed.
4. Cables, Hoses, and Ancillary Lines Inspection
Check that all cables, pneumatic/hydraulic lines, and connectors are intact, secure, free from excessive wear, and show no signs of corrosion.
5. External Electrical Components Check
Inspect external wiring, emergency stop buttons, teach pendant connections, and other electrical interfaces for proper function and physical condition.
6. Lubricant Leak Check
Examine lubricant inlet and outlet ports on gearboxes and joints for any signs of oil leakage.
