How to solve the issue of air pockets or trapped hot air inside shrink film during heat shrink packaging?
Common shrink packaging issues include air entrapment (ballooning) in heat shrink wrapping and its solutions:
• Increase the number of vent holes to allow trapped air to escape more quickly from the shrink film.
• Slow down the conveyor speed of the wrapping machine, giving hot air more time to escape during the shrinking process.
• Slightly increase the temperature of the automatic heat shrink packaging machine to improve film elasticity and facilitate air release—note that excessive heat may cause film distortion or product damage, so adjustments should be made incrementally.
